OUR HISTORY

Born in Nice, the company's founder, Rémy DONATO, enjoys a wide range of sports: karate, rugby and water sports.

He launched his first e-commerce site in 2007: Nootica. At first, the company operated on a small scale out of the family garage, but soon found itself overwhelmed by the space-consuming storage of its products, and the company decided to move into its first 200m² premises in Villeneuve Loubet (Alpes maritimes).

By 2008, the team had grown to 4 quite versatile employees who were responsible for sales, shipping and after-sales service. In 2012, the company moved to Saint Laurent du Var for larger storage space (the premises grew from 200 to 600 m²) with a team of 9 people, then expanded to a total of 1,000 m² in 2013.

In 2016, after launching the English website, Nootica extended its e-shop to Spain and Germany, as well as the UK in 2017. A final relocation took place in Vallauris at the end of 2016. In 2022, Nootica continues to structure and develop all its universes throughout Europe, increasing its surface area to 3000m², tripling its workforce and doubling its sales.

In 2023, his interest turned to Padel, the racket sport that everyone was talking about. Attracted by the friendliness and accessibility of this new sport, he and his partner Julien KLAINE decided to launch a new e-commerce website 100% dedicated to this sport. The new site was immediately launched in 7 languages, with the ambition of becoming one of the leaders in this field in just a few years.
